How do I return a product?

Amy, Technical SupportFor our Fast Fit products, simply fill out the back of your delivery note with credit comments and ship the product back to us with the completed paperwork. (We send a pre-paid return shipping label with all Fast Fit products.)

To return a custom DAFO, first call us to tell us your concerns. By asking you a few questions, we’ll be able to determine how best to meet your needs. The brace may need some simple adjustments that you can do, or we can do them here at Cascade if you prefer. The brace may need to be re-made, or a different style of DAFO might be more effective for your patient. In any case, let’s work together to find the best solution. If it’s determined that we need your custom brace back, we’ll email you a pre-paid shipping label to put on your return package.

What shoes work best with your braces?

Erin, Technical SupportSeveral brands of shoes, at several price ranges, work great with DAFOs. Whichever brand you choose, look for sneaker-type shoes that have removable insoles, are wide with some extra room in the toe box, are flexible at the toes, have a level heel, support the heel, and tie or strap snugly over the instep. While we can’t endorse one brand over another, some shoes that often feature these characteristics include New Balance, Keen, Vans, Hatchbacks, Dinosoles, Keeping Pace, and Markell. How can I clean my orthoses?

Tom, Technical SupportBraces can get dirty fast, especially with active kiddos. Our orthoses clean up well with a sponge and mild soap and water. Air dry thoroughly. If needed, you can soak the brace, but it’ll take longer to dry. Caution: Don’t put braces in a clothes washer or dryer! Excess heat will damage the brace.
