Revamped Video Section
We updated our web videos! Our main Videos page now includes a variety of educational videos, most with accompanying audio, in addition to our existing collection of case studies. This page will be updated regularly and will include topics such as selecting the appropriate brace style, measuring for both our Fast Fit and custom products, assessing fit, and fine-tuning through adjustments. We also have a new patient case study video (featuring Alan, a toddler) on the JumpStart Kangaroo for high tone and excessive plantarflexion. Find out more at www.cascadedafo.com/videos.

New Educational Tool for Orthotists
We now have a free educational PowerPoint session called “The Orthotist’s Role in Pediatric Mobility.” Orthotists may use this presentation to provide their PTs and other bracing team members with a deeper understanding of how an orthotist contributes to mobility goals. The presentation defines a framework for the clinical team approach in pediatric mobility. It also describes Cascade Dafo’s products and the DAFO bracing strategy, including patient groups, levels of support, best position of function, and compliance issues. The PowerPoint is in a problem-solving case-study format with plentiful video footage, making it accessible in any clinical setting (e.g., hospitals, schools, rehab centers, medical offices). The presentation runs 30–45 minutes. To request an electronic copy, ask Customer Service, customerservice@dafo.com, 800/848-7332.
