Fine-Tuning DAFO Donations

We’re delighted to receive your usable donations of DAFO braces and shoes. It’s intensely gratifying that so many of you think of re-using braces and shoes for children around the world who could never buy them.

To make sure you’re spending your shipping money effectively, please note: it does take time to sort through donation boxes and cull what’s really serviceable.

Keep in mind that you can ship styles you’ve changed from or braces we’re redoing right with the casts for another order. Simply bag the donations separately and label the bag (not the braces) as a donation.

We have received some pairs of children’s shoes, which are so sought-after when they aren’t already worn out. You, on the point of use with your patients, have made a great deal of difference in “rescuing” outgrown or otherwise cast-off shoes with some wear in them for children who desperately need them.

If you’re going on a service trip and would like donations, please let us know well ahead of time if possible so we can
collect what you need.
